Program Manager – Aerospace & Defense – Troy, MI

Position Description:
- Serves as a Program Manager/Director for all Aerospace & Defense strategic engagement activities across the commercial and defense sectors within the assigned geographical region, including:
- Directing, leading, and controlling all client-specific account activities; Planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of all client-specific account activities at the contract and portfolio level; Attracting, hiring, training, and retaining technical, functional, and administrative personnel as required to execute portfolio-wide performance objectives; Resource allocation to support all organize, train, and equip functions for direct reports at the Manager, Senior Manager, and Director level.
- Reports to the Executive Vice President; Aerospace & Defense. In the capacity, serves as the primary authority for all Aerospace & Defense account activities within the assigned geographical region.
This is a position within the global Aerospace & Defense portfolio and as such preference will be given to those candidates possessing the following:
Experience:
- Demonstrated record of highly successful leadership performance in Program Management in Aerospace Acquisition.
- 5yrs – 10 years experience in Executive-level (GO, SES, DR, AD) experience within the U.S Department of Defense.Education:
- MS degree from an accredited U.S. academic research institution: Engineering Management OR Business Administration OR Operations Management, OR Aerospace Engineering.
