Job Description:

L3Harris Corporation is currently seeking a Program Manager to join our team. Overall responsibilities include working with the customer and leading the internal and subcontractor teams in capturing and executing end-to-end space business, specifically including:

  • Managing the cost, schedule and technical performance requirements of a program through all phases from inception to completion.
  • High-level relationship management.
  • Preparation of proposals, business plans, performance work statements/statements of work and specifications, operating budget and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Ensuring that all resources such as engineering, manpower, production and facilities are available to support the program.
  • Working with customers to determine needs, requirements and new business opportunities.
  • Directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, business and administrative areas.
  • Interacting internally with management and customers on significant business matters.
  • Manages a team with focus on policy and strategy implementation.
  • Developing and managing programmatic and financial forecasts.
  • Proficient and experienced in EVMS execution and reporting.
  • Solid technical background with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Provide/reinforce the credibility and commitment of L3Harris at appropriate levels in customer community.
  • Organize and coordinate customer visits participation in appropriate symposiums and trade shows.
  • Make effective decisions regarding the profitability and achievability of pursuits.
  • Work with other Program Managers, Business Development Managers, Product Lines, and Engineering functions.
  • Communicate in a thorough, clear, and timely manner which supports information sharing and goal achievement.
  • Develop broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals, even when having no direct authority over them.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or equivalent.
  • Top Secret Clearance or TS/SCI.
  • Experienced mentoring junior project managers and lead engineers or experience as a lead with reports.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experienced in running a portfolio of projects or large ACAT 1 program with subordinate projects,
  • Experience Planning, organizing, and directing. Objective thinker, problem solver with ability to execute challenging tasks to completion,
  • Experienced with Space C2 operational constructs and architecture,
  • Practical experience working with AFSPC/ SMC acquisitions,
  • Experience in the space control and space situational awareness domain, to include sensor and battle management command & control missions,
