Your responsibilities and tasks:

SUMMARY:

Conducts all international sales activities of the company including sales planning and strategy, opportunity evaluation, expense budgeting and containment, as well as offshore marketing, pricing, and sales promotion. Coordinates company’s new international business development opportunities.

Seasoned Professional. Well-founded knowledge and skills: Broad application of specialized techniques in most or all of a professional field; or in-depth seasoning in a specific technique.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Develops, implements, and directs strategic and tactical marketing and sales for the company’s international activities.
  • Identifies, quantifies and recommends new market/product opportunities.
  • Develops and implements expense budget plan.
  • Identifies and develops company candidates for certified distribution. Monitors ongoing development and performance of existing distribution.
  • Provides oversight review of all international booked contracts including margin review, commission review, and order content.
  • Directs technical preliminary international inquiry review of client specifications to determine company’s capability to meet expectations.
  • Reviews proposals for technical approach consistent with corporate technical capabilities and in agreement with budget/margin objectives.
  • Obtains executive review/approval on non-compliant terms and conditions of sale including “non-standard” technical risk approaches to client requirements.
  • Provides direction and assistance in development of new business opportunities for company including OEM and other special agreements.
  • Manages compliance with both domestic and foreign laws as related to company’s sales pricing and policies.
  • Participates in the development of the Company’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Your profile and qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Education: B.S. degree in Technical Sciences or related field
  • Preferred Education: Masters’ degree
  • Minimum Experience: Fifteen years of sales management in refrigeration industry plus five years foreign assignment experience
  • Minimum Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in foreign language(s), strong technical, analytical and organizational skills, ability to problem solve and resolve issues, detail oriented, strong leadership skills

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sit, stand, bend, reach, walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift/carry 10-15 lbs. occasionally
  • Sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard.
  • Extensive travel is required.
  • May occasionally be exposed to manufacturing areas that may require personal protective equipment.
  • May occasionally be exposed to a manufacturing work environment that is hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet and/or noisy.
