Our client is growing with several brands recognized globally. This is a great opportunity for a Director of Construction who has handled major projects to have a high impact overseeing execution of expansion projects in Norther Virginia. The Director of Construction will be executing major projects of over $2 billion throughout the project lifecycle. He or she will be the site’s senior safety overseer and will be responsible for overall safety policy and enforcement.

The Director of Construction will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on-time and on-Bridget. He or she will be executing major rejects related to the growth of our client, helping to impact the project lifecycle. The Construction Director will help select the most commercially viable solutions working closely with the VP and Global Engineering managing budgets, RFPs, risk both operational and financial, manage changes, vendors, and project managers. The Construction Director must be organized and able to communicate to all levels of personnel from C-Level to contractor. As the Construction Director, you will be based in Northern Virginia.

The Director of Construction must be able to multitask, direct personnel, communicate project time-tables, ensure changes do not drastically alter time-tables, and deliver updates upon budget progress as needed. The Director of Construction will be responsible for delivering updates upon the progress of overall project stages. He or she will be managing deviations to ensure project time-tables can and are being met. This is a Senior Level position and the successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years managing large-scale construction projects.

Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Master’s preferred
Experience managing facilities in semiconductor space
Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, major projects
At least 15 years in construction and engineering
