The goal of the Value Management Team (VMT) is to drive efficiency and effectiveness gains across Publicis agencies and their clients, with functions supporting Business Development, data benchmarking, and client value management. The accountability arm of VMT is responsible for the development and support of all accountability functions, including performance delivery and risk management, media savings methodology development across all channels, tracking & product generation, and client and consultant relationship management.
The Accountability Lead is a new role, created to support Publicis Mediaâs competitive value propositions and market position. The role spans across Publics Media agencies in the US and collaborates with global Value Management teams in support of US driven business.
Full responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support in the development of savings methodology & tracking programs used to measure value performance during pitch negotiations, post-pitch, and contract renewals.
- Help build communication best practices between VMT and agency investment teams for onboarding, methodology rollout, data collection, and value aggregation.
- Oversee and ensure value target achievement across multiple accounts, and proactively propose solutions for risk avoidance.
- Supports in management and tracking of all MSA terms and compensation value tied to performance plans.
- Provide media audit guidance, and track associated risk.
- Partner with PMX (Publicisâ investment arm) on consultant outreach and relationship management programs.
- Support in hiring, training, and development of 2-3 Accountability support staff. Cross train other VMT staff in accountability fundamentals.
- Contribute shared learning and help create holistic solutions across other Value Management functions (Pitch Management, Rate management) .
- Partner with auditors, consultants and clients.
- 10+ Years of media agency experience, preferably with experience in New Business, Media Auditing, or Accountability.
- Proficiency in Excel and data management.
- Knowledge of 3rd party media market tools such as Kantar, SMI, & SQAD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong interest in process improvement.
