ITS currently has a vacancy for a Product Manager. A Product Manager is a strategic role responsible for conducting customer research and working with business and IT stakeholders to develop and convey product vision. As an innovative collaborator, the Product Manager gains insight on the needs of the customer and continuously matches on-going product capabilities with the evolving needs of the customer. The Product Manager will add value to a broad range of business and integration needs, implement best practices, and work across a broad group of stakeholders. This position will deliver diverse products of varying scope and complexity involving multiple teams and applications; manage the daily rhythm of discussions that clarify and resolve requirements during design, development, testing, and release; and conduct and participate in the analysis of the business process and functional requirements. The success of the position will be measured by service and engagement metrics.
The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Product Manager serves as the domain lead for the City’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM roadmap, products, and services. With a thorough understanding of the CRM platform, the CRM Product Manager guides executive leadership toward the best practice designs and configurations with the goal of making it easier for the Phoenix residents to conduct business with the city, and for city staff to work efficiently.
Key job duties of this position include:
- Work closely with departments and business process partners to advise on product capabilities and enhancements, ensuring delivery and support of the product through its lifecycle.
- Make frequent and dynamic prioritization decisions based on product analytics, product team metrics, and customer feedback.
- Lead all aspects of integration success, including gathering and prioritizing customer and integration requirements, writing feature specifications, and working closely with developers, user experience, marketing, customer service, and finance to ensure product goals are met
- Conceive, define, test, deliver, monitor, refine and withdraw product capabilities to maximize business results.
- Engage in hands-on product development from concept through delivery, against an aggressive timeline.
- Facilitate and drive alignment among key stakeholders, supplying customer and market research and analytics.
- Develop the product strategy, vision, and roadmap
- Work closely with development team to balance product, technical and business trade-off
- Deliver product requirements and user stories with prioritized features. Maintain regular communication to refine requirements and provide project updates
- Anticipate and resolve resource gaps, obstacles and timing issues. Ensure efficient use of organizational resources cross-functionally
- Collect and analyze key site and business metrics.
- Use this data to support the prioritizing and definition of project initiatives, as well as determine the successful deployment and adoption of features
- Perform market research and competitive analysis by keeping abreast of new developments in the industry and provide recommendations on how new and emerging technologies ought to be implemented
- Drive customer insights and tie those insights to business plans and product roadmaps

SALARY
$74,734.00 – $113,485.00 annually. Candidates may be hired up to $113,485.00 depending upon qualifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years of responsible experience in applications analysis project involving multiple computer subsystems, including project leader responsibility,
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
- 5- years of experience as a Product Manager
- Current PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
- Experience in user experience design, IT program/project management, and business analysis skills
- Experience using Power BI and/or PWA (MS Project Server–Online) .
- Experience with change management best practices and framework.
- Experience working in public sector/municipality.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
