Manages Applications Analysts team to design, develop/configure, implement, integrate and support SRAlab’s software systems. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of systems projects to ensure project and SRAlab goals are accomplished. Manages applications team to support SRAlab’s information systems, ensuring system issues are resolved.

Principal Responsibilities
1. Manages day-to-day activities of IS applications team to install, configure and test software applications.
2. Oversees SRAlab’s application systems through the full system lifecycle.
3. Works with the Vice President, Information System to understand priority/sequencing of projects and to manage implementation projects through.
4. Manages and prioritizes list of system enhancements / fixes and schedules staff”s time appropriately to deliver post-system implementation changes.
5. Participates in application software selection processes.
6. Utilizes standard project management tools/frameworks to address budgets, work plans, staffing plans, communication plans, etc.
7. Manages within project charter which specifies goals, strategy, objectives, staffing, scheduling, deliverables, risks and allocation of available resources for this project.
8. Manages project personnel and vendor resources based on assigned duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to ensure projects complete on schedule and within budget.
9. Prepares project status reports, communicates status/issues to constituents, and suggests modifications of schedules as required while ensuring changes fit within overall program plan.
10. Develops and maintains project documentation and ensures centralized storage and indexing of documentation.
11. Supports the creation of software system training materials.

1. Reports directly to the Vice President, Information Systems and Chief Information Officer
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
1. 7+ years experience managing implementations of packaged and/or custom applications in a healthcare environment.
2. Degree in information systems (e.g., Computer Science) or degree in clinical care (e.g., RN, PT, OT etc.).
3. Seven years experience managing implementations of packaged and/or custom applications in a healthcare environment preferred.
4. Demonstrated project and process management skills.
5. Strategic orientation to establish a vision and act with broader benefit of SRAlab in mind.
6. Achievement orientation with commitment to high standards of excellence and innovation.
7. Experience managing and developing IS applications organization.
8. Understanding of and experience with applications lifecycle and development methodologies.
9. Deep analytical and financial skills to prioritize team”s work, quantify project costs and benefits and make trade-offs while implementing IS software systems.
10. Strong ability to communicate with a broad set of individuals including SRAlab executives, clinical staff, subordinate staff, and technical staff.
11. Solid judgment and strong problem solving skills.
12. Strong sense and ownership and accountability to manage scope of responsibilities.
13. Experience with delivery of superior customer service.
14. Flexibility and adaptability to meet shifting needs of SRAlab.
15. Relationship building skills to forge connections with SRAlabemployees and 3rd parties.
16. Personal development skills to pursue and continuously improve leadership skills.
17. Experience with Cerner Millennium and/or Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
Working Conditions
1. Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
