POSITION SUMMARY

Our business activities include originating assets and securitizing them with third-party investors, which largely involves federal government contracts. Hannon Armstrong is seeking an experienced professional to lead our Securitization Operations team in Annapolis, MD. This individual will be responsible for leading the team that administers our securitization process from execution to investor disbursement and reporting.
The individual will report to the Chief Accounting Officer.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining relationships with customers and investors to enable timely cash collections and disbursements
  • Facilitating timely monthly ledger closings
  • Collaborating with other departments to facilitate contractual modifications
  • Ensuring accurate monthly reporting of account activity to investors
  • Providing periodic updates to senior leadership on collection and disbursement status
  • Leading a team of 4 to 6 professionals focused on the above responsibilities
JOB-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with and leading a team focused on administering complex transactions and contract modifications
  • Governmental contracting experience
  • Experience with asset collections and investor reporting
  • Understanding of accounting ledgers and related systems
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and enact change
  • Experience with documentation practices and requirements (loan agreements, security pledges, performance monitoring, covenant tracking, etc.)
  • Strong analytics and process skills
  • High caliber and professional interpersonal, influencing, negotiating, communication, time management and presentation skills
  • Fully PC proficient including Microsoft Office suite and proven ability to learn and quickly adapt to software systems
