    Hype Roofing and Construction is looking for motivated Project Managers/Outside Sales Associates.

    This is a sales-based position that will require management and oversight of commercial and residential roofing projects and general contracting services. Our Project Managers (PM’s) will provide direction and coordination of all field activities (i.e. re-roofing and installation) as well as overseeing the subcontractors. The applicant will need to prepare accurate/profitable job estimates and convert the estimates into winning bids, while planning and managing each project to successful completion. Hype Roofing PM’s will prepare all field change orders, contract documents, project estimates, and supply lists. They will also work closely with the accounting staff to ensure proper and timely billing on each project.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Using industry software to estimate and manage residential and commercial roofing projects.
    • Bidding on projects with enough detail to provide accurate budgets.
    • Supervising and monitoring all subcontractors and activities associated with the project and its successful completion by bringing the project on time and in or below budget.
    • Participating in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and scheduling process as necessary.
    • Creating and updating project schedules.
    • Managing the scope of work and contract adherence.
    • Helping to ensure that all assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in their duties and responsibilities, including safety precautions.
    • Demonstrating good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions.
    • Respecting and maintaining the confidentiality of the company, client, and personnel information.
    • Demonstrating a positive image for Hype Roofing to staff and clients; this shall include oral and written communication and professional demeanor and appearance.
    • Applying all safety rules and regulations to work efforts, immediately reporting and preventing work hazards.
    • Ability to successfully multitask, prioritize, organize and complete complex tasks.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Knowledge of restoration and roofing industry, best practices, industry language, and terminology.
    • Project management practices and/or knowledge of software development and database best practices.
    • Modern office practices and technology, including Microsoft Office, suite, copiers, telephone, facsimile, proper filing techniques, etc.
    • Minimum of two years of professional experience in construction/roofing industry in progressively challenging roles, including a minimum of two year in a supervisory capacity or administrative capacity

    License and Special Requirements:

    • Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate valid Texas State driver’s license.
    • Knowledge of industry software a plus: Acculynx, Xactimate Analysis, and other similar programs.
    • Computer literate with knowledge and experience in MS Office Suite.
