Vice President of Operations
Twin Cities Physicians
Golden Valley, MN

The VP of Operations will lead our practice of Rounding Providers by directing provider workflows, business planning, financial analysis, technological initiatives, and market growth through new partnerships.

Vice President of Operations Responsibilities:

  • Monitor clinical workflows, clinical initiatives, and the care management process
  • Analyze operations to identify opportunities for improvement, make recommendations to the President and board, and implement action plans
  • Analyze clinical outcomes to ensure quality of care, in order to improve patient retention and satisfaction
  • Identify unmet patient needs, and plan services accordingly to improve outcomes and revenue
  • Optimize team productivity, care quality, and budget to be a fiscally effective operation
  • Collaborate with team leaders to solidify and document Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist in the hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating of clinical staff
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, external clients, and business partners
  • Negotiate business partnership contracts and aid in growing the practice
  • Ensures compliance with State and National accreditation and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain awareness of industry changes that impact the practice

Vice President of Operations Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Health Science program or related field required
  • Master degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • History of leading teams of healthcare providers, while improving operations and ensuring accountability
  • Experience in a geriatric medicine, primary care, or senior living community setting strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills in order to lead a dynamic, high-performing, growing team
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with physicians, medical professionals, community business partners, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with healthcare business strategy, planning, and developing partnerships
  • Understanding of medical terminology, EMR systems, and health insurance plans strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel, on occasion, throughout the Twin Cities metro and, less often, throughout greater Minnesota
  • Ability to maintain confidential information, and adhere to HIPPA guidelines to handle information with discretion

Established in January of 2016, Twin Cities Physicians now serves over 3,000 patients within 200+ senior living communities across the State of Minnesota. We take a coordinated and collaborative approach to keeping residents healthier longer and safer in their communities and avoid unnecessary ER and hospital visits. We provide services through Technological Innovation and Clinicians that have a strong background in Geriatrics. Our goal is to alleviate some of the burden and stress senior communities and families feel trying to coordinate needed medical services for residents and their loved ones.
