Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Vice President of Consulting to work in their Norwell, MA office. The Vice President of Consulting is the senior leader responsible for directing WWM’s Consulting practice. This position has the ultimate responsibility for strategy creation, execution, service/product development, business development support, and financial performance with a special focus on creating and maintaining our Community of Interest.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops, manages and executes strategic business plan that will ensure the realization of our brand mission to be a trusted partner and be recognized as mobile workforce experts, with the ability to build and execute compelling business cases that support cross selling, business development and client retention efforts.
  • Acts as the primary product steward for Consulting Services responsible for defining the scope of services, pricing, promotion, and delivery. Researches, develops and promotes new/refined services that support company objectives and create revenue opportunities.
  • Responsible for creating tools used in the delivery of Consulting Services from proposals and presentations to billing and reporting.
  • Manages the delivery of Consulting Services including but not limited to defining project scope, managing resources and timelines, ensuring all agreed/expected outcomes are delivered on time and within budget, and coordinating client billing and associated financial reports.
  • Promotes Consulting Services by serving as a SME, representing Weichert through industry trade publications, participation in trade meetings, conferences and internal meetings.
  • Responsible for writing and publishing thought leadership tools including research initiatives, articles, whitepapers and guides.
  • Recruits, trains, monitors and manages support/contingent staff used in the delivery of Consulting projects. Oversees and directs activities of assigned support professionals. Conducts performance appraisals, recommends salary increases, promotions, etc. Provides guidance and training to promote positive employee morale, growth and development.
  • Executes against multi-year business and financial plans in order to ensure the achievement of budgeted financial results (gross revenues and net income).
  • Monitors category and project scorecard performance in order to drive attainment of annual and multi-year success rates, and metric improvement.
  • Performs other duties assigned.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • CRP and/or GMS certification required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • CMC or CPM preferred
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of mobility consulting experience
  • Previous operations and business development experience required
  • Previous management experience strongly preferred
  • Experience planning and implementing strategic consulting solutions
  • Strong business acumen across the workforce mobility including Group Move planning and execution and workforce management businesses
  • Proven experience implementing and executing against a business plan and financial budget
  • Strong business development support and prospect management capabilities
  • Excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong operations management and customer service orientation
  • Ability to inspire followers and drive measurable engagement and advocacy
  • Strong analytical, project management and problem resolution skills
  • Effective verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and focus on competing priorities
  • Command of basic math skills and computer application programs (i.e., Survey Monkey, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
