Technical Project Manager

Central Network Retail Group (CNRG) is searching for a Technical Project Manager to become part of the Information Technology Team based in Birmingham, AL.

The Project Manager is responsible for establishing and tracking milestones as well as coordinating internal resources and third party vendors for execution of projects related to systems for Central Network Retail Group (CNRG). The PM will set and lead meetings and coordinate work surrounding vendor identification, vendor selection and implementation of CNRG systems. Project status will be broken down and tracked within Asana.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the project end to end working closely with CNRG teams to include IT and Ops as well as vendors.

• Track backlog and manage it

• Proactively communicate the Issues / Risks / Challenges to projects to senior management in IT and develop plans to work toward solutions.

• Create Status reports for the various levels of communication

• Manage velocity and team capacity

• Identify dependencies with other teams, manage impediments.

• Manage third party vendors (as relates to specific projects)

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

• Manage projects with minimal supervision

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation within Asana.

EDUCATION:

• Project management experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work

• System technical experience

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Strong leadership/administrative skills multitasking, planning, and organizing

• Understanding of multiple technologies a plus

• Detail oriented

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
