The Corporate Finance-Strategy and Law HR team is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Human Resources to join the Corporate HR team in providing HR business partnership to the Finance, Strategy and Law organizations supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and the east coast region.
This role is responsible for providing Sr. Level Manager strategic HR Business Partnership to enterprise functional leaders for Finance, Strategy and Law. Utilize knowledge of the function and business to support our HR Centers of Excellent (CoEs) shape enterprise strategy and standard solutions. Work with local HR teams, specifically the BDS HR Director {of Finance}, to integrate and implement solutions. Drive development and achievement of strategic organization and talent plans, reduce complexities and enhance the value of our enterprise HR solutions in alignment with our Global Talent Strategy.
While the work location is in Washington D.C., this HR professional will partner with HR teammates and business partners across the east coast. The successful candidate will also need flexibility to travel to various Boeing locations across the east region, if needed.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with senior functional leadership, specifically the Chief Financial Officer of BDS to lead the development and implementation of functional organization strategy
- Drive development and achievement of strategic organization and talent plans, reduce complexities and leverage the value of our enterprise HR solutions in alignment with our Global Talent Strategy
- Serve as a senior member of the Corporate Finance Enterprise Performance and Strategy HR Team as an HR knowledge expert, consultant and strategic advisor, working to drive 2nd Century HR goals and objectives from a consistent, enterprise perspective
- Collaborate with HR teammates and BDS functional leadership to lead in the strategy and talent needs analysis, while ensuring alignment, decrease redundancy and achieve results
- As a senior HR leader, serve as a steward of the HR model to develop and execute strategies and plans in HR related fields such as talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, organization optimization, performance and career development, early career innovation, and overall employee engagement
- Champion a diverse, service excellence culture characterized by: efficiency, quality, responsive decision making, and engaged mindset rooted in business performance
- Lead, engage in, and deploy HR projects and initiatives

Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelorâs degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Experience leading teams either formally or informally within Human Resources
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Strong focus on 2nd Century HR execution model and driving efficiencies through process improvements
- Certification in HR such as SHRM, PHR, etc.
- 5+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Previous Aerospace or Defense Human Resources experience
