Position Summary:
The Senior Sales Director of Small Business will lead the strategy, development and execution of the business plan and human capital strategy for the Small Business Sales Channel. This newly created role will be responsible for growing sales and profitability for the SMB channel by focusing on the key objectives for the company. He/she will collaborate and work closely with ADT’s executive leadership to drive key strategic initiatives to help enable transformative growth for ADT. This role reports directly to the VP of Consumer Field Sales Execution.

Key Responsibilities include:
Key Senior Sales Leader for Small Business Sales channel

Responsible for developing strategy, implementation and execution of national SMB initiatives across regions for accelerating sales growth through collaboration and partnerships to RVPs, GGMs, GSMs and Frontline Sales Managers.

Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of SMB programs and processes through best practice sharing, process improvement, and effective analytics; collaborates with VP and sales leadership to determine how to successfully deploy and implement across the regions.

Evaluate and monitor competitive activities and develop reliable market data. Recommend strategy defenses, offenses, and tactics.

Partners effectively across business channels (HV Field, Inside Sales, Readiness & Enablement etc.) and functions (Field Operations) to ensure effective delivery of all services in customer lifecycle (e.g., installation, maintenance, repair). Effectively solves problems or issues related to broader customer sales and service challenges.

Partner with Corporate Marketing on launch of new products, services, programs to satisfy market demands and take advantage of new market opportunities. Act as Subject Matter Expert and liaison to Marketing/Sales Support/Finance corporate departments towards ensuring proper build out of SMB initiatives.

Conduct field visits and business reviews. Evaluate profitability and recommend alternative market approaches to improve profitability and distribution within the SMB Sales Channel. Ensure consistency in field sales process/ lead management, and SGL activities.

Monitor performance (analytics, opportunities, production reporting, etc.) and partner with Advanced Analytics team to find solutions to problems and create greater efficiencies and growth within the SMB channel.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, business administration, marketing, sales or related field of discipline

MBA preferred

Skills and Experience:
Minimum 10 years of sales, sales management and/or sales support experience preferably within a service, security or subscriber based business.

At least 5 years of experience in senior leadership role in Sales or Marketing

Proven successful track record in similar sales and/or marketing programs

Assessing, coaching, and developing talent and managing multi-disciplinary organizations

Establishing business direction and executing strategy development and implementation

Leading a significant business unit of similar size; scoping, designing, and implementing business solutions to build/grow a market

Influencing business decisions in a highly matrixed organization
