Job Purpose:

Our Senior Director, Creative Strategy will provide vision, leadership, and customer-focused creative strategy and ideation for the blulava division and will oversee aspects of the creative team and its development.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working in conjunction with the Executive Vice President, blulava, assist in developing the overarching vision for blulava including competitive positioning, innovative idea generation, suite of service offerings, staffing needs, division structure, efficient processes and procedures.
  • Inspire and mentor direct reports and colleagues to think out of the box and facilitate a culture of excellence, creativity, innovation, strategic thinking, loyalty, collaboration and comradery.
  • Supervise and grow the blulava team (consisting of creative, digital, technology and creative/digital strategy groups); work to identify additional full-time resources to join our growing team as necessary.
  • Working in conjunction with the Executive Vice President, develop a specific plan to brand, promote, define and grow blulava’s full suite of services.
  • Identify and support new business and organic growth opportunities in order to facilitate blulava growth and achievement of annual company targets for net sales, revenue and COGS.
  • Participate in weekly/bi-weekly leadership meeting with the broader team, facilitating inter-departmental comradery and a positive, solution-oriented approach to problems as they arise.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in an environment of change, remaining calm and positive under pressure.
  • Work to identify opportunities to collaborate with all of Evolution Health divisions, as appropriate.

Key Objectives:

  • Acquaint yourself with Evolution Health group’s services, staff, leadership team, culture, processes.
  • Gain an understanding of Evolution Health Group’s and blulava’s current offerings, capabilities, talent and opportunities.
  • Develop ideas to support Evolution Health Group and blulava’s growth.
  • Identify new customers working in collaboration with colleagues to bring opportunities to fruition and conducting face-to-face interactions with customer as necessary.
  • Establish a collaborative working relationship with the other leaders of Evolution’s departments and divisions.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership, colleagues and direct reports to help achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Establish a well-functioning team who have clear performance objectives and a knowledge of their career trajectory – help define what success looks like and elevate performance.


Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of healthcare innovation excellence with demonstrated success building, leading and growing creative, digital and creative/digital strategy teams
  • Proven experience succeeding in a change environment and helping organizations achieve their business and financial goals
  • Passion to rapidly build expertise and offerings in new areas
  • Desire to be a driver of innovation and customer-facing
  • Excellent communication skills among peers and across disciplines, fostering a positive, collaborative culture
  • Ability to be hands-on, tackling challenges with enthusiasm and delivering results
  • Design/business degrees preferred
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30% of the time)
