Join CACI as a Release Manager supporting financial management applications that help our Department of Defense customers plan and budget resources to support our country. We have been supporting our customers for over 20 years with 5 applications across 7 different clients. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task. You must be able to work collaboratively with various scrum teams in an Agile environment to manage deployments to various customers environments and ensure we are delivering solutions our customers on time and implementing optimal solutions for our customers. DESCRIPTION OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishes and maintains release cadence and coordination activities across Feature Teams and Shared Services Teams
- Leads release planning meetings and coordination activities with relevant POCs to plan releases and target deployment dates across feature teams and customers.
- Monitors customer deployment and test activities in accordance with release schedule and makes adjustments to release plan based on coordination with Operations Lead.
- Responsible for defining, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on portfolio level, release level, and customer level metrics.
- Identify process improvements to improve release cadence and coordination activities.
- Assists Scrum Master in removing roadblocks/impediments across scrum teams.
- Audits Release closeout activities
- Monitors progress of each sprint to ensure it is in line with release plan, adjusts release plan as needed, and coordinates with Client Leads and PO if CRs are at risk.
- Interfaces with Shared Services team to align priorities and resources for deployments and internal infrastructure efforts.
- Responsible for ensuring development environments mirror production environments
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Information Science or related field) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Experience supporting complex web applications and solid hands-on experience with planning, managing, and tracking key deliverables and project milestones.
- Ability to decompose work to smaller units and track progress via a schedule or tracking tool.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- DoD Secret clearance must be obtainable.
- Experience or desire to work in an Agile environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks with limited oversight.
- Team player who takes initiative and places a primary focus on the success of the team and customers.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
- Must have experience working in mission critical, fast-paced environments.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior business analysts or developers.
- Experience with influencing others regarding processes and solutions.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Agile and or PMP certifications
- Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server or similar Agile Lifecycle Management Tools.
