Product Project Manager

QBP is looking for a Product Project Manager to oversee product development projects for QBP’s consumer brands iSSi, MSW, Problem Solvers, & Whisky. This individual must be a team player that has strong communications skills and leadership. The project manager must have an eagle-eye for details, love process improvement, and execute with autonomy. The Project Manager will be key in ensuring on-time delivery of projects and coordination across the various brand team members for maximum efficiency. Primary Duties:

• Manage projects from concept through completion:
• Gather and establish clarity for project goals
• Develop project plans and make projections about project risks and uncertainties
• Recruit, build, and manage project teams
• Drive project timelines and ensure task completion
• Manage project scope and constraints
• Ensure project deliverables meet required quality within agreed project goals and constraints
• Establish and lead effective project meetings
• Provide regular project updates to Sponsor and stakeholders
• Development and management of project budget
• Manage any procurement necessary for projects

Qualifications:

• Preferred: a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in project management or product development.
• A passion for the outdoors and/or cycling
• Ability to effectively use and adapt project management tools
• Ability to apply project management methods and approaches and successfully blend according to projects
• Effective analysis and problem solving with some supervisor support
• Great communication skills and effectively adapting communication to multiple audiences
• Effective reading and managing situations that arise and reacting appropriately
• Ability to influence in a positive way both up and down the leadership chain
• Ability to negotiate both small to medium financial agreements
• General knowledge and understanding of the product development lifecycle
• Successfully employs a consistent set of strategies to maintain organization and manage time
• Ability to independently travel to events. Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and become a QBP Approved Driver
