We are seeking an experienced, visionary educational leader to work collaboratively with a very dedicated and exemplary staff and active Board of Trustees. As an independent, alternative high school, we have been serving the needs of a diverse population of students for over 25 years. The Head of School is responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, goals and policies as mutually established by our Board and will:
- Provide leadership and support to all staff, students and families;
- Develop and maintain a highly effective educational program to meet individual student needs;
- Diligently and creatively work to ensure financial viability of WFS;
- Increase community awareness of, and support for, the school’s mission.
Leading by example, the Head of School helps to create and maintain a caring and supportive learning community reflective of the unique values and beliefs of Wellsprings Friends School.
