  • Reporting sales to department and to the field
  • Escalated liaison for the relationships
  • Manage national brokers from a compensation, compliance, event, and territory perspective.
  • Work with Finance and Legal on compensation, agreements/contract and compliance.
  • Manage different compensation scales/plans to ensure commissions, reporting and complaint.
  • Work with leadership on what relationships to target, review or terminate.
  • Ensure good business practices are level across the country and different sales executives and territories.
  • Work with Sales Executives to filter relationship
  • Manage a broker advisory panel
  • Review changes to compensation plans
  • Work with Marketing to provide materials to promote AXA Equitable
  • Address internal questions on each relationship. Work with Distribution team on potential new SPs
  • Work with Finance and Legal on contracts
  • Research and define opportunities to improve profitability and retain customers
  • Monitor opportunities and organize marketing plans (promotions, communications, brand awareness) to grow current membership or cross-sell other products.
  • Understand benefit offering to group insurance accounts to provide enrollment material and client communications and reports
  • Travel as needed to develop, build and maintain strong broker/consultant and client relationships
  • Attend client events and internal meetings (not geographic specific)
  • Maintain up-to-date client databases, business plans and legal requirements. Create reports and maintain them, as required to properly manage the relationships.
  • Work as a team with sales, marketing, underwriting, billing, eligibility, claims and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Prior expertise in the insurance industry (sales, underwriting, operations). Understanding of employee benefits (life, dental, disability) and RFP process is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills, also able to speak in front of groups.
  • Detail oriented and strong follow-up skills
  • Account management, project planning and problem solving experience preferred
  • Must be self motivated, work both independently and as a team, and have strong desire to exceed goals.
  • Life and Health License will be required within a specified timeframe
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to prioritize and work on numerous responsibilities at one time.
  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills (Outlookm Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Salesforce, Adobe)
