We are partnered with a wonderful nonprofit healthcare provider in the San Fernando Valley to find the next right hand of the CEO (Chief of Staff / Executive Vice President).
About you.
We are seeking a talented, energetic and resilient strategist & communicator who will support the CEO with internal and external communications, strategy, and leadership team execution. At the beginning, you will principally support the CEO in developing business plans, drafting & preparing high-impact internal and external communications, board updates, and strategy projects. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to take on self-directed leadership efforts and transition into a broader role in the organization
The organization.
Founded over 100 years ago, they provide a variety of health care services to an underserved population across LA (70% of their patients receive some sort of financial support ). Service lines include, but are not limited to:
- Skilled Nursing Facility
- Independent Residential Senior Living
- Psychiatric Care / Mental Health
- Home Health / Hospice
- Health Plan
While the organization is in outstanding financial shape and does over $100M/year in revenue, their mission to help their residents is exemplified by continually reinvesting in improved facilities and opening new service lines for their patients.
The Team.
You’ll report to a passionate CEO who leads with her heart in the best way possible and has been here for over 20 years! She has decades of executive experience, and while you’ll have oodles of autonomy, she’ll be a fantastic guide and mentor.
Additionally, you’ll work closely with 8 other members of the executive team. They are highly collaborative and are the type of leaders who prefer to walk over to their neighbor’s office and have a conversation about an important issue, rather than firing-off an email.
The front-line team is extremely dedicated (annual turnover is a ridiculously low 12%), and 160 FTEs have been here for over 15 years. Everyone has a voice, and engagement survey feedback actually matters here!
