We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Director of Revenue Capture in our office in Overland Park, KS. The Director of Revenue Capture is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate revenue capture for radiology services rendered in hospital- and ASC-based settings across the country.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and maintain workflows to accommodate the following functional areas of responsibility:
  • Partner with Director(s) of Reimbursement to ensure the accurate, timely and complete transfer of billing information to a centralized billing office or alternative billing site.
  • Partner with the centralized billing office (and alternative billing site[s]) leadership team to ensure the accurate, timely and complete billing of time and non-timed cases and procedures.
  • Partner with assigned specialty Operations team members to optimize the billing process of assigned specialty cases.
  • Partner with other Envision Physician Services (EVPS) departments to ensure the timely and accurate flow of information to facilitate IT, Accounting, Finance, HR, and other activities that involve RCM.
• Research and develop specific action plans for near- and long-term goals related to assigned specialty revenue capture activities, including the communication of these initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze and anticipate case volume for efficient planning and assignment throughout the specialty division for the timely completion of functions described above.
• Identify trends in all functional areas to allow for training, development, and continuous process improvement utilizing Lean tools and principles.
• Provide support for the due diligence review of potential organic and acquisition opportunities in addition to collaborating with Operations and other support services on new business integration.
• Maintain internal controls as set forth by senior management and the audit team.
• Develop and/or modify policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established or necessary internal controls and narratives.
• Prepare and analyze reports, statistics, and surveys relating to key performance indicators and their financial impact, as required. This will include days to enter, collections, denials, DSO, accounts receivable, third party payer issues and trends, and overall department performance.
• Proactively engage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with additional and necessary EVPS team members, particularly the assigned specialty operations staff, so that the patient and client experience meets or exceeds their expectations.
• Communicate trends and issues with contracted and non-contracted third-party payers.

• Strong knowledge of and experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
• Extensive Managed Care Contracting knowledge.
• Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Successful record of high-level leadership with a focus on Revenue Cycle Management and/or Accounts Receivable in healthcare settings.
• Ability to effectively track, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Exceptional relationship building skills.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University and 7+ years’ experience as detailed above; or equivalent combination of education and experience as detailed above.

Computer Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Healthcare Billing System (AS/400 or web-based practice management systems preferred).
