The
Director of Stars will be responsible for driving communication and alignment to support accurate payer quality performance on Stars. This role is an opportunity to equip payer and internal partners on Oak Street performance on Stars, and to work on one of the highest organizational priorities in 2020. The Director of Stars will report to the VP of the Population Health team.


The key responsibilities for the role are as follows:


  • Create infrastructure and reporting for real-time Stars reporting and projections


    • Create the reporting capabilities for Stars performance across the organization, by payer and market


    • Work collaboratively with the Business Intelligence team to create reporting


  • Represent Oak Street in Payer Quality Meetings on Stars


  • Drive strategy and training for other team members to represent Oak Street in Payer Quality Meetings


    • Oversee the strategy and coordination for Payer Quality Meetings in collaboration with the Managed Care Operations Team


    • Train and equip Population Health Directors to support with key payer relationships


  • Lead the Stars Committee to provide an overview of current status of performance on Stars to Division Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents and Population Health Directors


    • Kick off Stars committee to provide visibility on progress and projection for Stars performance, and to outline areas of focus for operations


  • Collaborate on areas of improvement with rest of Quality team


    • Work with Sr Associate of Pop Health and Director of Med Adherence to address remaining open opportunities for Part C and Part D Stars


  • Cross-functional partnerships with Payers, Managed Care Operations Team, Quality Team, Business Intelligence, Population Health Director, Regional Vice President and Division President Group

  • 2+ years of experience at a top tier strategy consulting company


  • Relationship management experience


  • Analytical and data savvy


  • Strong intellectual curiosity, willing to get into the weeds to thoroughly understand questions


  • Ability to develop business cases, ROI analysis, and financial analysis


  • Incredible level of organization and detail orientation


  • Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product


  • Quick learner comfortable with a high level of ambiguity


  • Ability to succinctly summarize large amounts of information
