We are hiring for Director of Manufacturing Operations for a large, national manufacturing company in Sacramento. This is a direct hire position.
Director of Manufacturing Operations is responsible to oversee overall operational and manufacturing activities including purchasing, logistic, and manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related is required. Advance degree or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience successfully managing large manufacturing organizations in plastic or food industry
- Understanding and experience of entire product life cycle from design, through manufacture, deployment and maintenance.
- Experience in lean manufacturing concept and continuous improvement project is required.
- Leadership of manufacturing processes, planning, and ability to execute with sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key to success in this role and required.
