About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Corporate Human Resources to join our close knit global HR team. This role will work closely with the VP, Corporate HR and Global Talent Management & Diversity to build and establish our corporate HR strategy. You will make significant contributions to the corporate HR function and the company overall. As a key member of the HR team you must be willing to take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities. This role will be located in Stamford, CT and report directly to the VP, Corporate HR and Global Talent Management & Diversity.


Your Team

This position will lead one direct report.


What You Will Do

  • Lead the Corporate HR function and partner closely with senior leadership in Finance, Internal Audit, Legal, Digital, HR, Internal Communications and Strategy to globally apply comprehensive HR Management practices to ensure that key business initiatives are met
  • Provide counsel and direction to managers and employees regarding performance management, employee relations, recruitment, succession planning, compensation, compliance, training & development and organizational design
  • Design and administer HR policies and procedures that are applicable to all Corporate employees globally, in collaboration with local HR leaders.
  • Oversee various HR projects and programs, to include policy creation, international assignment, rewards & recognition initiatives, and domestic immigration management
  • Accurately interpret, counsel, communicate and educate managers and employees on compensation policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of compensation initiatives. Partner with Compensation to grade newly created positions within the global grading structure.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment initiatives for all US based Corporate positions, and coordinate with global HR for positions outside the US
  • Own all Corporate HRIS data and coordinate with the divisional and global HR team to ensure data integrity
  • Help integrate, and be a champion of our employee value proposition and core values


What You Need

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive HR generalist experience both domestically and globally supporting an employee base abroad in Asia and Europe
  • Relevant experience in managing global programs, interacting with global HR colleagues and in leading cross functional and cross divisional project teams
  • Solid general knowledge and experience with HRIS & compensation management systems and market compensation vendors
  • Strong communication and presentation skills


What is Nice to Have?

  • SPHR or a PHR designation
  • Strong business acumen, understanding of key business drivers/how the business works
  • Workday experience
