The Strategic Execution & Operations (SEO) Office focuses on achieving quality performance across our businesses to enable the company to execute more effectively against our regulatory priorities and further drive our transformation.
This position is on the team that supports the Wells Fargo Business Process Management toolsets. The candidate will be responsible for facilitating the scrum process on scrum teams with cross-functional impacts. The candidate will guide the scrum teams and organization to follow Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint. The candidate will facilitate and is accountable for owning the scrum agile ceremonies, partners with product owners, program or project managers to ensure continuous refinement of the backlog, communicate delivery of work product from the scrum teams and escalates key risks and issues impeding effectiveness. The candidate will coach the scrum teams to deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the SDLC, business process mapping and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security and development requirements are met.
The candidate will use empirical data to help the teams assess their scrum maturity, optimize velocity, identify improvement opportunities, etc. Will also proactively address systematic impediments to team agility and guide the teams on methods to escalate and remove blockers.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a practicing Scrum Master

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project and process gaps, recommend controls and communicate progress to business leaders
- Ability to quickly and accurately execute tactical deliverables
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
- iGrafx, ProVision or other enterprise process modeling experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) methodology and modeling
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry
