The growing, global Copado team is looking for a new Alliances Director with extensive experience in forming partnerships and alliances with Salesforce.com. This is a leadership role reporting to the Vice President, Alliances in our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify Salesforce/ISV-sourced leads and ensure seamless transition handoffs of qualified opportunities to the direct sales team
  • Identify, develop and create new ISV partner relationships in support of new services sales
  • Partner with the Copado marketing team to drive our brand recognition through targeted marketing into Salesforce/ISV organizations
  • Drive and execute strategic account planning sessions with Salesforce/ISVs
  • Build and uncover sourced pipeline through business development activities, account mapping, and whitespace initiatives working with Salesforce/ISVs Professional Services leaders, Program Architects, CSMs, ISV Solution Managers, vertical market managers, and other relevant referral sources
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement of the Alliances Team’s business development processes
  • Maintain effective internal relationships with Salesforce/ISV program stakeholders– Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success, Training, Customer Success and executive leadership–to align all stakeholder interests and drive activity

Experience Required:

  • Minimum five years of experience of Channel and/or Alliance creation, development and management experience
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce brand, organization, and capabilities within the CRM ecosystem
  • Work experience in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Passion for SaaS and cloud-based offerings and experience with enterprise service agreements
  • Excellent communication skills and experience preparing and delivering presentations to C-level executives and managing objections in real-time
  • You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
  • You pride yourself on your ability to engage with all kinds of people, building and leveraging relationships to create mutually beneficial value.
  • You’re an expert at multitasking, and working with shifting priorities and uncertainty in a startup environment.
