We are currently seeking a skilled VP of Sales who thrives in a fast-paced and flexible environment to join our team. The successful candidate is one who will help drive sales and guide clients to understand how best to leverage the power of the VSys One product suite for their volunteer management needs.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with prospects and customers to accelerate sales and company growth. To develop, plan, implement and manage Vsys One by Bespoke Software sales activities that result in increased sales and profits consistent with annual goals and enhancing long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

General:

  • Prepare budgets, periodic status reports, performance evaluations and other sales and management reports as required
  • Member of Leadership Team. Collaborate with executive and management teams to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to reach growth objectives of the organization
  • Develop annual operational sales plan and budgets in support of organizational strategy and objectives
  • Perform all sales activities
  • Manage assigned employees
  • Maintain business contacts and liaison with outside groups and professional associations in order to keep the company abreast of advancements and developments in the volunteer management and other relevant software categories

Sales:

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline
  • Manage, train/coach and motivate Sales staff to achieve their sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to ensure profits and aggressively increase the growth of the company’s products
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events as required
  • Regularly monitor quote activity to provide sales forecasts
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Liaison with 3rd party vendors
  • Create promotions and marketing campaigns for all company products
  • Perform other job related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Requirements

  • Proven record managing and coaching sales managers and sales representatives
  • Proven record in direct sales including developing and performing effective demonstrations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to negotiate and close sales deals
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Technical skills in strategic and sales planning
  • Proven experience preparing responses to RFPs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 1+ years sales management experience, preferably in a technology field
  • 5+ years of superior sales experience, preferably in a technology field
  • Proven experience with growing sales and sales teams
