EverCommerce is looking for an energetic Vice President of Corporate Development to lead our inorganic growth initiatives, including acquisitions. EverCommerce is an extremely aggressive acquirer, and has done 38 deals in the last 37 months.
This role will report directly into our CEO and will play a key role in the strategic direction of EverCommerce. You will work closely with our private equity partners (Providence Equity and Silver Lake), along with additional members of the EverCommerce leadership team.

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop strong understanding of EverCommerceâs business and growth strategies, leveraging this knowledge into research and analysis of various markets/industries and specific acquisition or partnership targets
- Collaborate with internal and external teams involved with due diligence, integration planning, and transaction execution
- Support CEO, CFO, and private equity owners in all acquisition related activities, including valuation, structuring, negotiation, and integration
- Create and manage project plans and schedules
- Lead internal/external management presentations and diligence calls/meetings
- Summarize key diligence findings in presentations to be used for internal approvals and integration planning
- Ability to lead people and develop a strong team
- Develop and maintain strong industry competitive knowledge
- Participate in enhancing/optimizing Corporate Development processes
Experience & Skills:
- Bachelorâs degree in business/finance, math, engineering or other related field with a top-tier academic background
- Strong track record of M&A execution as the team leader and primary transaction sponsor
- 10-15+ years of post-undergraduate relevant work experience, e.g. financial services, corporate development or private equity
- Strategic thinker with operational experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to comprehend and handle large volumes of data and summarize key facts and conclusions in a concise and persuasive manner
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills required
- Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Extreme attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
- Low ego attitude with a willingness to shift from high-level critical thinking to necessary mundane tasks required to complete a job
- Ability to protect extremely confidential information
- Interest and/or previous experience in the software/payments industry a plus
