The Vice President, Marketing will be a member of the ONI’s senior management team and be responsible for providing executive leadership and management of the Company’s marketing organization, marketing strategy, and inbound and out-bound marketing activities worldwide, which include: digital, marketing communications, partner/channel marketing, product marketing, and product management.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 10 years marketing experience in life science tools/diagnostics industry with 3+ years in a senior management position in the life science tools market.
- Ability to plan, manage, and implement at both strategic and operational levels.
- Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives.
- Track record of cultivating key high-level relationships within the pharma and biotech industry for product positioning, beta trial feedback, and closing of early-access sales.
- Ability to communicate on a technical level with internal and external stakeholders to develop inbound marketing material.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage often outsourced marketing activities.
- Experience in choosing, deploying, and using marketing and sales software applications.
- Substantial experience working with business and industry press.
- Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business (competitive) strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to translate market and customer requirements into executable product requirements for the development team.
- Extremely effective public speaking skills and presence.
- Demonstrated track record of successful product introductions to the life science tools market.
- Strong background in positioning, launching, and marketing systems for imaging technologies preferred.
- Strong technical background in cellular assays preferred.
- Strong technical background in immune-oncology preferred.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in related field required, MBA desired.
