The Vice President of Manufacturing is responsible for the overall strategic and operational initiatives within Manufacturing for Coca-Cola within the Reyes Family of Businesses. The role will lead the manufacturing function, across all plants, for the conversion of raw material to full goods including; direct material sourcing, production, maintenance, inventory management, quality and warehousing operations.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Develops and manages annual Manufacturing budget across the business.
Responsible for setting the strategy and monitoring performance against goals and objectives.
Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
Provide on-site review and guidance regarding manufacturing practices, equipment and facilities, and people resourcing.
Using best in class practices to set and maintain highest standards of quality and efficiencies.
Develops new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvements.
Promotes a work environment that fosters creative thinking and innovation.
Creates and manages execution of sustainable business practices to include Water, Energy and Recycling programs.
Drive packaging initiatives to reduce material costs.
Develops and maintain partnerships with senior management stakeholders in order to influence business decision-making. In addition to collaborating with Supply Planning, Transportation, Distribution Centers and Suppliers to ensure customer service objectives are achieved.
Develop communication protocol to ensure clear understanding of project scope, objectives performance and changes.
Implement the companyâs Supply Management Process to better integrate supply functions, ensure sustainable supplier relationships and deliver value to the company.
Develops and leads a continuous improvement culture focused on activities to include safety, cost/efficiency and employee engagement.
Role models excellent customer service with internal and external customers.
Manages company-owned equipment and assets.
Ensures adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements as well as compliance to Company Policies, as well as collective bargaining agreements.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering.
Ten plus years of leadership experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance or Supply Chain.
Eight plus years of experience running a Manufacturing plant.
Multi-facility leadership experience in a Beverage, Consumer Products or Supply Chain company.
Full understanding of lean concepts.
Experience driving continuous improvement in an end-to-end supply chain organization.
Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
Experience developing and managing a budget.
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent employee engagement results.
Experience working in a Union environment.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Up to 35% Travel.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Masterâs degree.
