Vice President of Innovation & Go-to-Market

Profile


Dynamic, confident, and forward-thinking business-savvy motivational leader who independently identifies complex issues, capitalizes on opportunities, and is perceived as an expert by both their clients and co-workers. Able to spearhead strategic initiatives, understand implications, and build consensus across various levels to align with corporate strategy in a changing environment.

  • Visionary Leadership – has a POV on where the industry is going and able to make strategic and tactical decisions to achieve vision.
  • Research Mastery – 10+ years market research experience, with strong knowledge of qualitative methodologies and techniques.
  • External Focus – strong understanding of client business issues and how to address them, working knowledge of research industry players and trends beyond qualitative.
  • Internal Collaboration– a go-to partner within and across organizations, can work across levels, functions, geographies.
  • Engaging communication – Demonstrated ability to enroll others in a vision, even without direct positional authority. Ability to communicate POV internally within IUU and broader Ipsos, and externally with clients, in a way that builds commitment.


Essential Job Functions

Senior leader accountable for leading and activating IUU innovation and go-to-market strategy:


Envision & Execute Innovation Strategy

  • Develop and independently execute innovation strategy with clearly articulated focus areas and supporting plans.
  • Catalyze internal teams in support of innovation strategy and focus areas. Spearhead monthly case study sharing and regular communication that inspires adoption.
  • Work collaboratively with US IUU, other service lines, and global teams to build a “needs based pipeline” of innovation prospects suitable for development of new techniques, products and/or services.
  • Create, develop and deliver (pilots, resources, materials, training) strategic innovation projects that will create a competitive advantage for IUU in the market place and build margin.


Drive Client Awareness of Innovation POV

  • Showcase innovation to clients via client meetings, calls and pitches, in collaboration with senior leadership and client service teams
  • Establish IUU as an innovative thought leader in focus areas, via ownership and execution of IUU client marketing program, including e-newsletters, webinars, publications, conference and award submissions.


Improve Equity & Sales by Step-Changing Go-to-Market Materials

  • Oversee key materials in support of client service activity systems, including proposal slides, points of view and capabilities presentation materials. Create specific plans to clarify and modernize materials, making them easy-to-use for internal teams and significantly more compelling to clients.
