The Vice President of Human Resources provides HR leadership, consulting and functional expertise across the Transplace businesses to support the organization’s mission, values, culture and operational plans. The HRVP oversees a team of HR business partners across the US and Canada and reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The role is based at the Transplace global headquarters in Frisco, Texas.

The Vice President of HR will be an engaged, action-oriented change agent who is accountable for ensuring that the company attracts, develops, engages and retains high-quality talent at all levels.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Functions as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior management.
  • Translates business strategy into an HR strategy with appropriate priorities in terms of delivery and impact.
  • Supports high-growth business (acquisitions, geographic expansion, new growth vectors) and associated organizational needs including talent acquisition, training, organizational design, etc.
  • Promotes leadership development and enables strong pipeline of future leaders for each organizational level.
  • Fosters a continuous feedback culture and environment.
  • Drives a high-performance organization by ensuring clear performance expectations, alignment and measures.
  • Cultivates an inclusive engaged organization and culture where diversity is leveraged and employees can learn, grow and achieve their personal best at work.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Masters highly desired.
  • 15 years of progressive HRBP experience, with a minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated success driving transformation and/or organizational change
  • Demonstrated success engaging with and influencing senior executive leadership teams
  • Demonstrated ability to display both leadership courage and collaboration in parallel.
  • Excellent relationship building, influencing and communication skills.
  • Highly developed organizational design & organization effectiveness skill set
