Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Build data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) pipelines from Investment Management data sources, including Positions, Transaction, Revenue/Expense and Commissions Management systems. Model ingested data with associated reference data sources for Accounts, Products and Organizational Entities (e.g. Salesperson, Team, Office, Organizational Unit). Build and manage the analytics layer on top of this data to provide key metrics to the business, including trending and point-in-time values for RRR (Run Rate Revenue), FAPL (Fully Allocated Profit and Loss) and LTFB Flows (Long Term Fee Based). Consider multiple portals for consuming data, from static reports to dynamic interactive dashboards. Optimize data storage structure to ensure best possible response times for business user data access.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Modeling or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related data science position. Prior experience must include five (5) years with: Leveraging Qlikview ETL and Dashboarding to ingest, transform and classify data; Demonstrating ability to build compelling Qlikview dashboard experiences, leveraging loaded data, analytics, filters and visualizations to translate reporting requirements into interactive business intelligence tools; Applying understanding of Financial Data Entities and their interrelated nature (including Positions, Flows, Revenues, Accounts, Products and Product Classifications) in order to enhance business intelligence and reporting; Applying data modeling skills – and demonstrating the ability to bring large datasets together in an efficient way (minimizing disk and memory utilization and maximizing dashboard runtime performance) while ensuring data accuracy; and Applying data analysis skills and an ability to understand and build multi-dimensional data cubes (OLAP) to support ad-hoc business user queries.
