- 7+ years of program/project management experience in a mid-size or large company with a proven record of successful delivery and customer obsession.
- Delivering global RPA projects.
- Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related financial field, or equivalent work experience
Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to join our AITP (Accounting IT Priorities) team. With the rapid growth of the company, it is essential to make continued investments in process improvement and technology.
As, such AITP team is looking for a results driven Program Manager to drive key Robotic Process Automation (RPA) programs. This person will coordinate with accounting functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to any proposed RPA process changes. Elimination of manual processes and other data manipulation will be critical to success. This person will manage several RPA automation projects and drive these projects to successful on-time launch. This is an exciting opportunity to join an area which touches every aspect of Amazon’s wide range of businesses.
- Experience working on projects with off-shore dev teams and global stakeholders
- Project Management Certification: PMP, CSM or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the enterprise
- Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize tasks
- Results oriented person with a proven track record of on-time project delivery for large, cross-functional projects with global stakeholders
- Ability to run workshops with the Operations teams to assess program risks and schedules
- Proven experience working in a matrix organization where most team members do not report directly to the PMO
- Self-starter capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction
- Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Courageous and willing to stand up for their ideas within appropriate guidelines
