Primary Function:
The Senior Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, scope and quality to ensure the project objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements
- Establish clear ownership for project tasks
- Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives
- Track progress and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Assess project issues and risks and identify solutions to resolve/mitigate
- Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to appropriate stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Ability to travel, approximately 5%
- Help define & maintain reporting and processes
- Other duties as assigned; including but not limited to defining requirements, testing, documentation, training
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- PMP Certification (Desired)
- Project Manager – 3 to 6+ years of project management experience
- Mortgage experience – 2+ years
