Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and managing information technology projects. Manages projects within the KCE Project Management Framework from initiation through project close. Acts as liaison between clients, vendors, delivery teams, and consultants. Engages with executives, business stake holders and partners throughout all levels of the company to manage assigned projects. This position leverages project and program management skills and collaborates with the project team during all stages of the project to ensure that the project consistently delivers solutions that meet and exceed business expectations within the bounds of time, quality and budget.


Key responsibilities include\:

  • Lead the initiating, planning, design, development, and deployment of project
  • Facilitate the definition of project charters, scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Insure proper quality assurance on all projects
  • Coordinate change management
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results

Qualification:


Key desired skills and experience\:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in customer relations management and the related skills of project and program management, intake, prioritization, status and delivery
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Proven experience in strategic planning
  • Proven experience in risk management
  • Proven experience in change management
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Track record of building both internal and external relationships
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer and user experience focus
  • Demonstrated ability to drive an IT Strategy in the face of multiple stakeholders with often conflicting priorities, leveraging influence and leadership skills
