Description
- Work on multi discipline water management projects associated with the upstream oil and gas market in PA/WV/OH.
- Lead permitting, due diligence, and regulatory compliance efforts for private sector clients in this area.
- Maintain relationships and develop opportunities with clients associated with water management efforts.
- Attend and lead client project development and execution meetings.
- Have a firm understanding of the regulatory requirements of projects and lead the compilation and submittal of permit applications.
- Actively attend field and construction meetings throughout the various project phases.
- Attend and be active at industry events and conferences.
- Work closely with the project engineering team to develop opportunities and execute projects.
Required Skills
Required Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental compliance of oil and gas water management projects in PA/WV/OH
- BS in engineering, environmental science, or related degree
- Professional Registration (e.g., P.E or P.G) is not required, although preference is given to applicants with current registration.
- Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Established reputation and recognition as a technical expert in the PA/WV/OH oil and gas market
- Proven experience in business development for environmental regulatory compliance projects, with the ability to contribute to new sales
- Established relationships with environmental regulatory agencies as well as oil and gas companies in PA/WV/OH
- Experience in interfacing with Federal, State and local agencies as well as community boards.
- Proficient in Google Earth, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD.
- Must be able to work as part of a project team.
- Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments.
- Technically competent, a team player and good communications ability required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
