Job Overview
We are searching for a Scrum Master for our eValue team. This is a full-time position in our Minneapolis, MN office.
The role of the Scrum Master helps team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate. They will also work with a Release Train Engineer and other Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and cooperate more effectively across teams.
The Scrum Master facilitates execution without coercion, assigning, or dictating work and will remove impediments or assist the team in doing so, to allow the team to achieve their sprint and/or PI objectives. They will work to establish a trusting and safe team environment where problems can be addressed without blame or judgment with a focus on problem solving, and will foster a “learn by doing” environment. They act as a servant leader, lead by example, and always protect the team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for facilitating agile sprint ceremonies for two scrum teams. (Backlog Grooming, Spring Planning, Retrospectives, Demo, Daily Standups)
- Provide day-to-day coordination, support, and coaching to the team to encourage adoption of agile practices best-practices.
- Encourage and facilitate cross-team collaboration and communication
- Remove impediments for the team(s) and escalate as appropriate
- Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on scrum progress and quality, including capacity allocations and team velocity.
- Track and manage project execution in accordance with company’s solution delivery roadmap and financial management practices.
- Lead backlog grooming activities and facilitate clarification on requirements and stories. Ensure stories and tasks are properly estimated.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Three to Five years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach.
- Five plus years of total experience working on an agile team
- Experience leading agile/scrum adoption at the team level
- Agile/Scrum Master certification preferred
- SAFe experience or certification preferred
- JIRA experience preferred
