Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Sales Manager, SVP for its Miami, Florida location.

Duties: Analyze P&L management across Investment and Banking products for Citi’s IPB Latin America business, serving a primarily cross-border clientele in LATAM countries. Design quantitative models for financial projections, goals of commercial staff, client base management and capacity analysis. Support the Global Markets Manager for the region through project and program management. Daily review of investment applications, blotters, monthly/quarterly compliance requirements, regulatory requirements and related activities. Approval of Client Risk Framework risk profile of new clients at time of onboarding and periodically for the client base. Approval of Business sponsorship forms for credit products. Perform risk assessment of Venezuelan coverage. Assessment of ad-hoc business situations, such as operating companies seeking private banking relationship. Oversee day-to-day servicing and processing activities for compliance with Citigroup policies, procedures and financial, securities and banking industry regulations, Know Your Client policies, Anti-Money Laundering. Create Annual Business Plan for business unit, marketing plans and develop new target markets. Drive and deliver Revenues, Expenses, EBIT, and compliance goals through strategic planning and business development with Financial Advisors, SRMs & Relationship Managers. Define and strategize bank and investment campaigns to drive efficiencies and revenues for the FAs, SRMs and RMs channels. Partner with HR and Sales Support Manager to ensure that staff is aligned with team objectives. Approve team expenses. Ensure proper controls and audit preparedness. Utilize audit/control process to minimize fraud losses. Implement defined management routines and client relationship process. Communicate with clients to resolve issues. Plan and communicate individual annual goals to producers. Follow performance management process. Review internal control and regulatory requirements and self-test results to ensure effective controls. Monitor results via scorecards and ranking reports. Keep current with new financial products, procedures and regulations. Identify client needs to offer superior financial services.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering (any), Economics or related field and 3 years of experience as a Business Manager, Management Associate, Investment Products Specialist, Financial Advisor Team Leader or related position involving analysis and process improvement for LATAM banking and brokerage services. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: Balance sheet statements, P&L, financial planning and expense management; Financial, securities and banking industry regulations including Know Your Client policies, Anti Money Laundry; Risk management; Financial products in LATAM Wealth Management Industry; Business management strategy; Process improvement; Cross-functional projects; Project and team management in a matrix environment; Serving in a client-facing role; Coaching front-office personal; Cross-border client coverage.
