In this senior role, your marketing mind and gravitas will lend itself exceptionally to our sister agency UM, with whom you’ll partner every day. You will represent yourself as the public face of performance excellence for UM and demonstrate thought leadership for them in the digital universe.
Ultimately, you will oversee all things Reprise that touches UM accounts. This is an overall responsibility of 200+ people who work within Reprise on UM accounts.
You will build a foundational bridge between Reprise and UM, and flex your leadership muscle and knowledge expertise (internally and externally) to compel new and existing clients to choose us as their Media Agency of Record. You will also proactively integrate our performance capabilities across UM teams and demand innovative approaches to Performance from our talent.
Key areas of focus of the role are:
- You are responsible for partnering with UM’s Global and Regional CEOs to support UM’s new business agenda on Performance
- You will lead social craft excellence within the teams, our growth, and our cross-agency partnership
- As our UM Performance Strategist, you are responsible for implementing our world-class strategic approach to social and other digital media and advancing it to position us beyond the competition

Key Responsibilities
Performance Expertise:
- Engage in a consultative role as a performance expert as an interface to UM leadership and brand leads
- Drive UM’s strategic media process between Reprise and UM, partnering with UM executive leadership and client lead peers to drive client optimization
- Articulate the potential of performance and social as a part of a connected digital approach for UM clients. Demonstrate total command of this thinking in front of the industry’s most senior leaders
- Ensure strategic integration of social and performance with all other media channels throughout brand planning and activation
Client Growth:
- Take the front seat in all client growth activity, whether organic or new business. Work with pitch teams to integrate strategic social as well as general performance thinking into UM’s strategic approach to media
- Work with UM client leads to identify and target priority clients and build powerful solutions that demonstrate our superiority in market
- Ensure UM’s new business efforts are fully supported. Mobilize the very best resources inside of Reprise and demand excellence in the delivery of RFI/RFP materials / assignments
- Embody our brand of thought leadership by delivering industry-influencing POVs on trending topics
Team Leadership:
- Identify Reprise capability and resource gaps on social on UM businesses. Partner with the SVP, Accounts Lead, to take actions to ensure ongoing excellent service-level quality across all teams
- Work with UM to set mutual inter-agency “excellence” KPIs and monitor Reprise performance
- Identify client and agency needs for further education and training in social. Coordinate learning opportunities and the up-skilling of Reprise and UM employees, as well as interested clients
- Represent performance expertise proudly in public forums, panels, journals, etc.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Outstanding overall performance and strategic social media experience
- Executive-level agency experience with a proven track record in business development
- Strong POV and outlook on all things digital from a social expertise standpoint, but also including eCommerce, Programmatic and Advanced Analytics
- Highly analytical mind-set with extensive experience in data rich environments
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding client business goals
- Familiarity with bottoms up planning approaches or large scale acquisition campaigns
- Possession of poise, gravitas, and charisma to command rooms, effect change and drive excellence
- Dexterity in fluid and fast-paced environments; you are decisive, yet also skilled in refereeing the interests of multiple stakeholders
- Inspiring leadership, with the innate ability to influence others; public speaking mastery a plus
