Responsibilities for this position include:
- Perform all phases of project management and leadership, from scoping, prioritizing requirements and developing work plans to actively managing project tasks, coaching staff, identifying and resolving issues, and handling various forms of communication.
- Capture, monitor, and manage projects risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests.
- Develop plans for and manage iterative and agile development cycles, system testing, user training and system support.
- Lead and participate on projects of various size and complexity.
- Analyze and documenting business processes, propose improvements and new processes, identifying hassle points and options to resolve them.
- Develop and document business and system requirements, research alternative solutions, and make recommendations based on client needs and professional experience.
- Facilitate work sessions to elicit requirements, understand needs and priorities, and help determine an appropriate scope and approach to a project.
- Capture meeting minutes and follow-up on action items
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor degree in business or technology field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, systems analysis, software development, reporting, and/or business/financial/technical operations roles.
- PMP, CSM, or Business Analysis certification are preferred.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies is preferred.
- Prior consulting or contracting experience preferred, not required, either inside a company or with external customers.
- Familiar with software development and iterative development methodologies.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills; documenting requirements, specifications, process flows, gap analyses, and project plans.
- Excellent verbal communication with users, technical staff, and management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, relationship, communication, and coordination skills.
- Work well independently and on teams.
- Demonstrated initiative in handling multiple assignments.
