AECOM is seeking a Project Manager for immediate employment for one of our NYC offices to work on public and private sector planning of complex urban projects. Some of the responsibilities include;

Managing the planning and execution of projects from conceptual stage of development through the public sector regulatory process in New York City. The incumbent will be working and collaborating with NYC Agencies and Commissions, such as the Department of City Planning or Public Design Commission, Community Boards, Borough President’s offices, City Council, City Hall, and Community Groups for the successful planning, advancement, and approval of complex urban projects.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in public and private sector planning and development.

Experience managing review processes with NYC Agencies and Community groups is a plus.

Candidate must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment with constant interaction between the public and private sectors.

Candidate must be able to develop and execute strategies, as part of a multidisciplinary team, that anticipate and mitigate regulatory risks through a multi-year complex project with multiple statutory review and community input stages.
