As a Project Manager with Ferrandino & Son, Inc. you will oversee the administration of our core values, processes, procedures, solutions and training to your assigned Facilities and Construction Projects. You will assume a leadership role in the provision of professional management of our clients’ needs as well as the management of our vendor relationships ensuring that they are in direct support of the overall goals and objectives of Ferrandino & Son’s programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plans, organizes and manages the design, construction and execution of small and complex projects within the Facilities and Construction space.
· Will manage multiple projects simultaneously, in varying degrees of size and scope
· Indirectly manages the performance of the project team including but not limited to consultants, construction managers and contractors within the approved schedule and budget.
· Reviews project plans to determine the project scope, schedule, budgeting and resources
· Is accountable to ensure all projects are delivered to scope, schedule and budget
· Coordinates activities for internal resources and vendors to ensure seamless execution, including but not limited to scheduling of crews, ordering materials & equipment, receiving and validating completion documentation, invoicing, etc.
· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
· Measures project performance using appropriate tools and resources
· Communicates project performance to internal leadership and client on regular basis
· Manages the relationship with the client and all key stakeholders (internal and external)
· Performs risk management to minimize project risks and proactively communicates risks to leadership and client
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree and/or relevant experience at a management level in facility maintenance and/or construction industries
- 3+ years in construction role or 3+ years as a project manager in similar construction or facility management field.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of productivity applications
- Ability to operate independently, under pressure, to perform multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities, and to deal with changing priorities, while maintaining personal effectiveness
- High level of commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Should be self-motivated/self-directed with the ability to make decisions
- Ability to communicate effectively via various communication modes/channel (verbal, phone, email, text, other)
- Ability to be clear and concise in communications
- High Attention to detail
- Ability to meet scope, budget and timeline requirements
- Understanding of project budgets and costs
- Ability to learn and work in our work order management system
- Moderate to Advance experience/knowledge in Excel
- Ability to work well with others (internal and external)
