The Ceiling & Floor Shop, Inc., founded in 1978, is the leading flooring and ceiling contractor in the central Virginia region. Our business furnishes and installs ceramic tile, resilient flooring, wood flooring, carpet, specialty flooring, window treatments and acoustical ceilings. We work mostly in commercial construction, but also do higher end residential finishes. We actively trade within a 50 mile radius of Charlottesville, Va.
Position:
We are seeking someone to perform materials takeoffs using estimating software or physical plans, prepare and present written estimates, manage the purchasing of materials, writing work orders, directing installation crews, handling the over site of the installation and managing all paperwork for proposals, submittals, invoicing and closeout documents. Knowledge of flooring materials and construction practices required, as well as a professional appearance and manner.
A base salary during training and orientation is offered with a commission schedule offered afterwards. Compensation range is $45,000 during training and orientation with commission earning at $70,000 plus.
