The Levine Institute seeks to provide for and promote the education, knowledge and study of the Holocaust and why and how it happened for a range of constituencies, including the general public, teachers, students, military, law enforcement, and government, both in the United States and internationally. The Levine Institute is viewed and respected by people around the world as a provider of high quality Holocaust exhibitions, pedagogical approaches, programming and resources for a variety of educational settings.
About the Role
This position is located within the office of the William Levine Family Institute for Holocaust Education at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. As the public education arm of the Museum, the Levine Institute is responsible for creating, planning, developing, directing and administering a wide range of educational programs, exhibitions, trainings, and resources on the Holocaust and its contemporary relevance.
This position serves as a Project Manager and provides assistance to the Initiative on Holocaust Denial and Antisemitism (IHDA) in planning, overseeing, and managing the successful and timely completion of priority projects of the IHDA and other aspects of the Levine Institute’s international educational outreach for which IHDA is responsible. The projects of IHDA require the coordination, integration, and management of staff and resources from numerous divisions both within the Levine Institute and other offices across the Museum. The Project Manager will work as an integral part of IHDA’s team to establish timelines, staffing plans, benchmarks and milestones for each project and to coordinate and manage the staff and resources required to accomplish these goals.
This is a temporary (2 year assignment), full-time donated position (non-Federal) paid with the Museum’s private funds. Salary is commensurate with experience.
