Portfolio Property Manager

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Property Manager to join our team! Reporting to senior management and working closely with property owners, you are responsible for the overall operation of a portfolio of properties. The available portfolio consists of market rate and student housing.

Essential functions:

• Create a positive environment for the staff and promotes a quality living experience for the residents. Adheres to Fair Housing, Equal Employment and Equal Housing Opportunity requirements.
• Strategize leasing efforts to fill vacancies and prelease for future years in line with forecasted goals.
• Responsible for property financial performance and managing key business metrics (market comp analysis, NOI, resident retention, occupancy, etc).
• Partners with Maintenance to ensure a safe and well-maintained community.

Experience and Skills:

• A minimum of two years multi-family property management; ideally managing 100+ units.
• Working knowledge of computer software applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel and the ability to learn property management applications (such as AppFolio or Yardi)
• Must be fluent in English
• The ability to travel by foot and personal (reliable) transportation between sites.
• Excellent follow up and follow through skills; solid organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work as a team member.
