Land Development Project Manager

At Ivey Homes, we attribute much of our success to our solid leadership and our teamwork attitude. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified land development project manager to join our team. This individual will report to our Development Manager and be involved in the daily oversight of residential site development. Projects include single family lots, town home lots, apartments, and professional offices.

Responsibilities:

• Daily oversight of land development construction activities
• Tracking contractor progress and processing pay request monthly
• Maintaining logs on site activity
• Developing and tracking project budgets and schedules
• Coordinating with utility companies for the installation of power, phone, cable, gas, setting water meters, etc.
• Coordinate the installation of street signs, common area sidewalks, fencing, streetlights, cluster mailboxes and common area landscaping
• Coordinate with contractors and local government agencies for inspections and approvals
• Work with engineers and surveyors to ensure project is designed, built and inspected to company and local jurisdiction standards.
• Oversee the construction of amenities such as parks, pools, courts, and walking paths.
• Coordinate with contractors the installation of neighborhood monument signs.
• Assist house superintendents with lot issues affecting the house foundation
• Provide oversight of the HOA manager as it relates to neighborhood maintenance to ensure a quality development

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in a land planning, development, engineering, surveying, site work or other residential real estate development experience.
• Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of site work fundamentals, including grading, erosion control, utilities and paving.
• Georgia SWCC Level 1A Blue Card holder or ability to obtain a Level 1A Blue Card Certification
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented with strong communication skills
