POSITION SUMMARY
The IS Project Manager (PM) directs the activities of selected Bon Secours Virginia IS project implementations. Using established project management methodology and tools, the PM is responsible for overall organization, tracking and status of activities for designated I.S. projects. The PM works with managers in BSHSI and Local System (including I.S. leaders and project champions) to ensure customer commitments and project objectives for cost, quality, and delivery time are met. The PM uses project management tools for planning, scheduling, risk assessment, requirements gathering, estimating, and implementing, (including developing plans, interviewing, facilitating meetings, developing budgets, and tracking information, such as budgets, schedule, and results for all outstanding projects.) The PM will also create weekly project status reports for the Enterprise IS Project Portfolio Director, and will conduct periodic project status meetings with stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. A Bachelorâs Degree in Finance, Business or Management Information Systems is preferred. Work experience may be
substituted for a degree.
2. Formal Project Management training or Certification through Project Management Institute is preferred.
3. 3+ years of I.S. Project Management experience is desired; in healthcare industry preferred.
