OVERVIEW:
Manage multiple internal & external/client-facing projects through a project life cycle: initiation > planning > execution > monitoring > closing. The ideal candidate must have experience in managing technical projects in a customer/client-oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
– Manage multiple internal and external projects, current and new, through proactive planning and effective communication.
– Identify and document potential risks/issues, and work with IT team to mitigate those issues.
– Prepares and delivers project statuses to appropriate stakeholders.
– Ensure all project contract deliverables are delivered on-time with the appropriate contract requirements and quality standards.
– Serve as a liaison between the the technical & project team and external third party vendors.
– Develop internal processes for efficiency.
– Work with IT team to design, document, develop, modify, test, install, implement, and support a variety of new and existing applications and software.
– Prepare and review training materials and provide formal training on various applications.
– Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s agree and a minimum of 3 years of professional project management experience in an IT customer service-oriented environment required
– Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly desired
– Strong technical writing, documentation, and organizational skills
– Excellent written & oral communication skills as well as presentation skills
– Valid driver’s license (local traveling required)
– Ability to recognize sales opportunities beyond the customer’s perceived needs or requirements
– Strong customer service skills
– Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships
– Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field required
– Knowledgeable across a wide range of technical subjects such as information technology, cybersecurity, penetration testing, regulatory compliance; a major plus
– Quick-learner who is willing to expand their knowledge
– Persistence and determination
