What to look forward to:
As an International Trade Compliance Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to support the issuance of export and import policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and functional performance standards to include the requirements contained in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Export Administration Regulations, Arms Export Control Act, US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, US Customs regulations and certain foreign customs regulations. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing our comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and administering all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations. You’ll build key relationships with appropriate government regulatory agencies to ensure the overall success of our International Trade practices.
As an International Trade Compliance Project Manager, you’ll provide centralized leadership and management on strategic initiatives designed to enhance SNC’s trade compliance program. You will oversee improvements to our people, processes, and tools necessary for our compliance with US and international trade regulations with an emphasis on International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations. You’ll join a team of trade compliance professionals dedicated to providing best in class support to our enterprise and our customers as a part of an increasingly dynamic international trade compliance organization.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Coordinating development, planning, and implementation of international trade compliance process improvement projects and corrective actions
Serving as primary liaison with SNC’s Enterprise Project Management Organization
Providing central management of international trade compliance tools and processes
Managing the International Trade Compliance Internal Document Library of processes, instructions, references, and templates
Providing strategic planning for long term development of SNC’s international trade compliance program
Soliciting input on best practices from USG representatives and industry organizations
Tracking regulatory landscape to identify necessary adjustments to existing process and procedures
Collaborating with enterprise functional leadership to further integrate SNC’s trade compliance program and maximize efficiencies
Managing resource allocation across internal projects
Facilitating ongoing review of trade compliance program to ensure consistency and identify best practices
As a part of the International Trade Compliance Office, you’ll be a part of SNC’s corporate team. Must-haves:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field of study
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Passion for process and project excellence
Ability to thrive in a complex and dynamic environment
Basic understanding of ITAR/EAR concepts
Preferred:
Trade Compliance background strongly preferred but not necessary
Project management skills (planning, executing, and tracking)
Experience utilizing/managing a Global Trade Management system (e.g. OCR EASE, Amber Road)
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with process analysis, development, and implementation

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
